Job Description Summary
The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Process Manager is a key leadership role within the Materials Management Organization (MMO), reporting to the IBP Manager. This position is responsible for leading the demand planning process for Power’s capital components across multiple business lines, supporting both Heavy Duty New Units (HDNU), Gas Services and Steam Power Services.
The role owns the Demand Management Review (DMR), the first step in the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This includes consolidating backlog, forecasted demand, and convertible orders into a single, aligned demand signal that supports operational planning, supply capacity decisions, inventory strategies, and financial commitments.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Own and lead the Demand Management Review (DMR), the first step of the monthly Sales Inventory & Operational Planning (SI&OP)/ IBP process.
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve the end-to-end demand planning process for capital components across a five year planning horizon with monthly buckets.
- Create a robust, data-driven demand signal integrating inputs from ERP, SFDC, Commercial intelligence and historical demand patterns and business assumptions.
- Ensure the demand plan supports business requirements across HDNU, upgrades, core & contractual service agreements (CSA).
- Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, Segment and Regional teams.
- Influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders to improve demand quality, transparency, accountability and decision-making.
- Own the functional and technical direction of demand planning tools and data flows, including Demantra, Oracle Cloud, integrations with ERP, Event Vision and SFDC/ NEX.
- Manage large, complex data sets and convert them into meaningful business insights, risks & actions.
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics to improve visibility into forecast performance, demand trends and planning exceptions.
- Partner with IT/ digital teams as needed to enhance planning systems capabilities, automation, and usability.
- Continuously improve each DMR cycle by identifying and eliminating waste, increasing efficiency and improving output quality.
- Lead Kaizen and other process improvement initiatives to deliver measurable improvements in planning effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of demand planning professionals, currently including two IBP Demand Planners and one Demand Analyst
- Serve as a subject matter expert and educator for the broader organization on demand planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Significant experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, materials management or contractual agreements.
- Significant experience leading teams and/or managing in a global business environment
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $140,300.00 and $233,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
