Data & ID Enhancement is critical to signal loss mitigation and many of the transformative initiatives ongoing and upcoming soon at BMO. You will be a go-to-resource for ID Enhancement and Marketing Data management. Supporting all lines of businesses in Canada and US, this role is a key component in spearheading the enablement, activation and to operationalize the multi-channel customers/prospect experiences. 

 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Provide subject-matter-expertise to internal partners in the areas of data management and ID stitching capabilities 

  • Manage, sync and enhance the unified profile of customers & prospects in martech platforms as well as other data management & processing tools 

  • Manage end-to-end data ingestion, processing and activation to enable multi-channel customer experiences 

  • Analyse the internal data models and structure of various aspects of customer, behavioral as well as engagement data to support segmentation and ID stitching strategies 

  • Manage the execution of projects by liaising between business and technical partners to ensure deliverables are completed, milestones are accomplished, and timelines are achieved as planned, ensuring project success 

  • Learn and understand the impact from privacy regulations (Bill 64, CPRA etc.) on marketing data usage 

  • Stay on top of the changing landscape of 3rd party cookie diminish and increasing privacy regulations, accordingly advise our internal partners on data & ID capabilities 

  • Build strategic and meaningful relationships with Marketing, Technology and Digital partners 

 

Professional Experience: 

  • Technical SME coupled with strong business acumen  

  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 

  • A post-graduate degree or diploma in Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence or a related subject  

  • 5+ years working in a technology or data management related field 

  • Experience in the North America banking industry is preferred although not necessary for the right candidate 

  • Experience with Martech/Adtech tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Marketing Platforms is a plus 

 

Technical Knowledge: 

  • Familiarity with Identity Resolution and ID Stitching  

  • Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms 

  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one of the following areas – data management, identity resolution, audience segmentation, martech platform management, data science, predictive modelling, other martech or AI/ML related areas 

  • Strong project management skills and experience in working with multiple stakeholders and partners towards achieving a common goal 

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements – collaborate with data engineers and solution architects to ensure business objectives are prioritized and realized 

  • Strong analytical ability to derive insights from customer behavioral data, transactional and campaign data and to predict the future channel-specific behavior of the customers 

  • Knowledge of data analytics tools like Python, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.

Salary:

$68,000.00 - $126,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
