Job description:

The client is currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our Tax Ignition practice to support the firm’s generative AI initiatives. As a Systems Analyst / Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of generative AI solutions tailored for the Tax function. You will be responsible for diving deep into the technical details, testing new technologies, and developing innovative solutions that enhance our products and services. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for exploring the latest advancements in technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the technical aspects of generative AI projects, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Assist tax engagements by helping to create tools that drive efficiencies in the tax compliance and other service delivery projects.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to develop and integrate generative AI solutions into tax-related products and services.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of new technologies and solutions. Train and onboard tax teams onto new platforms and technologies, gathering feedback along the way for continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, technical challenges, and solutions. Simplify complex technology subjects in a way that can be easily understood by less technical audiences.
  • Innovation and Exploration: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in generative AI and related technologies, and identify opportunities to apply them to our products and services.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of technical solutions, project plans, and test results, and provide regular reports to senior management. Apply robust tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor program progress, performance, and outcomes.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably working with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, or data science.
  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail and a systematic approach to testing and validation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage complex technical projects with many stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to independently navigate rapidly changing environments; candidates must be builders and highly agile; a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must.
  • Experience in the Tax industry or professional services environment is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a computer or information science
