The Office Print market is a large, dynamic, and ever-changing market that requires strong customer understanding and a global mindset to product management. The competitive landscape is fierce and requires a global mindset to development and marketing to over 170 counties. This expansive presence allows HP to cater to diverse market needs and adapt its products to varying customer demands, which is a key factor in its longstanding success in the office laser printing market.
As the Senior Director, Office Print Product Innovation, you will be responsible for setting the vision of the Office print experience. You will continue the innovation legacy developed for the last 40 years by anticipating customer requirements and industry changes to drive office print products & solutions to the market. Additionally, you will drive strategic market development, product concepts and roadmaps, product requirements, market position, product test/launch, sales readiness, and business plans.
This role also requires you to think creatively and collaboratively, building strategic alignments with the Print Supplies Organization, R&D/Software organization, Quality teams and Markets as well as global functions, including corporate marketing and finance. You will champion the voice of the customer as well as ensuring your products are developed in alignment with the company’s vision and growth strategy.
This role will report directly to the VP of the Office Print Transactional Business.
Responsibilities
Define an innovative Office Transactional Print end-to-end product service & solutions roadmap. This includes core print capabilities, customer experience, and value-add services and solutions.
Prioritize and rationalize changes to the product/solutions roadmap-based development scheduled and changes to market/customer requirements
Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and adoption.
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and services.
Responsible for life cycle management of the product/service/solution lines from development, launch, refresh to obsolescence.
Monitors market trends, analyses competitors’ offerings, and solicits input from customers, partners, sales teams for product planning and design.
Responsible for long–term business forecasting and marketing budget recommendations.
Coordinates creation of training materials and regularly evangelizes key value propositions both internally and externally.
Ensures that the marketing strategies and initiatives within area of accountability are integrated with corporate and business strategies.
Responsible for leading an organization of managers and individual contributors by setting overall initiatives, objectives, and providing coaching and career development.
Maintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity
Developing team talent and continuously improving teamwork excellence
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in product marketing, product design, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $183k to $290k annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
