WHAT YOU WILL DO

Owing to the continued growth of its business and its regulatory footprint, PGIM Luxembourg S.A. is seeking a Luxembourg based Compliance Vice President to provide compliance support and oversight for its global funds managed through its Luxembourg entity and also to support the broader European compliance function. Luxembourg is a jurisdiction of strategic importance to the business and the role will focus on PGIM’s Real Estate and Private Equity businesses. PGIM Luxembourg S.A. is approved by the CSSF as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager, retains a Chapter 16 Manco and MiFID II license and is registered with the US SEC as an Investment Advisor.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Act as the Conducting Officer for Compliance, Complaints and AML/CFT, in charge of the permanent compliance function and as the firm’s RC (subject to CSSF approval) and undertake the day-to-day compliance oversight of the AIFM business in Luxembourg to ensure that it is in accordance with all applicable regulations and guidance.

  • Maintaining oversight of the entire activities of PGIM Luxembourg S.A. as well as the products that are regulated by the CSSF, and carrying out impact analysis of new activities and providing advice to the business on regulatory and licensing aspects.

  • Regulatory liaison to the CSSF and other EU branch/subsidiary regulators; coordinator for regulatory inspections and reviews.

  • Review and advise on business relationship AML/CFT due diligence specific to counterparties, investors, vendors and other relevant constituents.

  • Responsible for compliance and AML/CFT policies, procedures and monitoring, supporting marketing activities, compliance training, creating and implementing new policies and procedures.

  • Protect the integrity and reputation of the Company and develop a positive compliance culture.

You will report to the European Head of Compliance, PGIM Private Alternatives and will form part of a team that covers Europe including the UK, working closely with colleagues in other global locations. The position is currently supported by a Compliance Analyst based in Luxembourg.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Experience of European financial regulation and markets and a genuine interest in global compliance concerns.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of working in a compliance/regulatory, audit, legal or other relevant control function.

  • Previously approved by the CSSF to act as a Conducting Officer.

  • Proven ability to work effectively and commercially with business stakeholders whilst ensuring an effective compliance culture.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a fluency in English.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

  • Experience in, and a good understanding of, real estate/alternative asset classes and/or private fund structures.

  • Good knowledge of relevant Luxembourg and European laws, for example AIFMD; familiarity with German/BaFin and SEC requirements is also advantageous.

  • Self-starter and strong team player who is inquisitive and self-motivated.

  • Detail oriented, able to set priorities and complete simultaneous projects.

  • Proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.

  • Strong academic background: relevant degree level qualification.
