JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of the Consulting Operations Coordinator is to coordinate project and operational aspects of the consulting LOB leadership and operations team under minimal direction. This role provides support to the assigned consulting operations team or function in areas associated with meetings and operational programs. In this capacity the CS Operations Coordinator will provide support with planning, coordination and execution of meetings and other operational activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provide assistance for time-sensitive and proprietary tasks for Assigned Leadership team members as requested.
  • Work with leadership to coordinate communication, and support needs affecting the successful execution of leadership and operational activities.
  • In conjunction with assigned consulting leadership and/or operations team members, edit and / or print meeting documents and agendas, provide assistance with document meeting outcomes, and follow up on related action items.
  • Research potential venues for small to mid-size internal meetings, which may involve coordinating venue searches and initiating contracts, placing banquet event orders, tracking rooming lists and organizing breakout and AV needs.
  • Serves as liaison with venue from pre to post meeting stages and reviews venue invoices for accuracy. Liaises with on-site administrative support to ensure meeting logistics are met.
  • Assist assigned leadership and associated office services personnel with meeting and travel planning, event logistics and on-site meeting support
  • Liaise with internal organizations (human resources, finance, marketing, sales, etc…) in support of related operational functions, with guidance and instruction from assigned consulting operations leadership.
  • Assist with uploading and/or organizing documents in SharePoint or other document management sites.
  • Be a resource to CS operations resources, fielding questions.
  • In conjunction with assigned leadership, support the definition of project scope and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Support leadership to manage project objectives, schedule, resources and deliverables.
  • Create and update project plans
  • Working with assigned leadership to support response to and resolution of troubled initiatives on an as-needed basis
  • Provide oversight and advocacy for the effective efficient use of internal systems
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 1-3 years relevant experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects of low to moderate risk
  • Previous project or team management experience preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Word,
  • PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes & handouts, etc., required

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $52,600 - $84,200
