Job Description:

You as a High Voltage Service Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for service business development, P&L, HSE, service strategy definition and implementation in line with HUB and GPG Service strategy by providing world class services for existing and new customers and active promotion of the service portfolio in relation to the existing installed base, motivating the service team to achieve their goals by understanding and recognizing the company's core values, considering the needs of customers and reducing the negative impact on the environment through CO2 reduction.

Your responsibilities

  • Identifying and managing the marketing and sales developments required to increase Hitachi Energy prominence in the high voltage market and rely on business unit guidelines and adapting sales and service strategy as necessary.
  • Monitoring existing business and contracts and roll out new business and deploying service offerings and working with the sales and product group activities to diversify and propose new approaches and penetrate the market.
  • Training and coaching the sales force on new offerings and working to improve the quality of existing service products and develop new service products to expand the portfolio.
  • Providing technical support and advice to sales teams in the preparation of offers and ensuring that assignments are delivered in accordance with the agreed contract (on time and on budget).
  • Carrying out risk assessments and create opportunities and building your network (internal and external).
  • Assessing health, safety and environmental risks and implementing the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the teams involved (in-house teams, subcontractors, customers, etc.) and equipment.
  • Participate in Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment Management System initiatives and supervising and leading teams on a day-to-day basis, monitoring people and leading regular meetings.
  • Ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in terms of market penetration, profitability and orders received.
  • Carrying out market intelligence to contribute to remarkable commercial growth over the next few years in France, both in the high-voltage services business and in new segments (e.g. industry, data centers).
  • Working proactively with the group's product service centers to optimize the service portfolio in line with market needs and leveraging mutual synergies, in collaboration with the Hub, Global Service Org. and country teams.
  • Developing performance indicators for your business, HSE incidents or accidents, customer satisfaction, order intake, sustainable growth in orders and sales, operating EBITA, cash flow.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economic or relevant technical field is required.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of successful experience in management positions involving a P&L.
  • Experience in service, HSE and integrity oriented and will be able to work independently and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and ambition for the company's growth and strong customer focus (internal and external).
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
