MachineQ, housed under Strategic Development, is Comcast’s one stop shop for enterprise Internet of Things solutions. We design and deploy Internet of Things networks and devices at massive scale to solve complex challenges for our customers in the Life Sciences, Food Services, and Hospitality verticals. MachineQ is always looking to answer the question of “what’s next” in the rapidly evolving world of enterprise IoT.
The MachineQ Product team is at the center of enterprise IoT innovation for Comcast. The dynamic team conceptualizes, designs, and develops cutting-edge IoT products to uncover the next wave of innovation in the enterprise landscape. Our team is comprised of a talented mix of product managers, product leaders, and user experience designers/directors working on building and advancing the MachineQ product portfolio.
Role Description
MachineQ is searching for a dynamic summer intern with a strong passion for technology to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of enterprise IoT (Internet of Things). As a Product Analyst Intern on the MachineQ Product team, you will have the unique opportunity to acquire hands-on experience with state-of-the-art IoT technologies.

An intern working on these projects will have the opportunity to demonstrate their adeptness in areas such as market research, technology evaluation, and their ability to absorb potentially new information related to Internet of Things technologies.

You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions related to the Internet of Things.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Achieve a basic degree of fluency with MachineQ’s platform, underlying technologies, operational toolsets, features, and solutions portfolio.
Work closely with the MachineQ Product team to research, evaluate and test new technologies.
Develop proposals on how such technologies would be used in the market along with potential business plans (pricing, markets, etc.)
Facilitate comprehensive competitive analysis by delineating strengths, weaknesses, and distinctive characteristics of the market landscape.
Contribute to ad hoc market research and proposal development for key enterprise opportunities.
Assist with the analysis, tracking of progress, and associated outcomes for customer pilots and other commercial opportunities.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with hardware devices (embedded electronics / IoT a bonus)
Interest in technology and Internet of Things
Basic grasp of business concepts
Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Skilled researcher (market research, competitive intelligence, etc.)
Comfortable presenting to groups and leaders
Time management
Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $32.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
