Planner/Works Programmer

Rotherham – Office based     

Full Time, Permanent, 42.5hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary up to £27,750 per annum

Mears provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers whilst their claim is being assessed in three regions: Northeast, Yorkshire and Humber, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs.

About the Role:

As a Planner within our Belfast branch, you will be part of a local repairs team which ensures that works orders are scheduled through the In-house appointments system, repairs works are allocated to trade operatives and all works are carried out with minimal average turnaround time. The main duties will include raising jobs for both responsive repairs and voids, issuing the jobs to staff across the contract and ensuring their days are full. The role will also be interacting with sub-contractors and doing any other administrative duties where required.
