The Job

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Website Development to oversee our website, with a focus on maximizing its impact as a demand engine. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping our brand’s online presence, ensuring a seamless user experience, and driving the technical evolution and strategic direction of our digital platform. Your contributions will be essential to achieving our growth objectives, using the website as a powerful tool for demand generation and customer acquisition. Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute a web strategy that aligns with company goals, brand identity, and our broader technology infrastructure.
  • Grow, mentor and inspire the web team while fostering a collaborative innovative environment. Manage the relationship and workload of our external web development agency. 
  • Lead the audit, research, and execution of a platform migration while managing and optimizing the tech stack to meet current and future company needs, including infrastructure, databases, and third-party integrations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of web projects, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define objectives, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Develop and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team, including code review processes and continuous deployment pipelines. 
  • Implement and utilize website analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions and implement strategies for optimizing website speed, functionality, and user satisfaction while ensuring browser compatibility and accessibility standards are met.
  • Partner with InfoSec teams to implement and maintain web security measures to protect against potential cyber threats.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to proactively recommend and implement new solutions. 
  • Communicate project progress, key milestones, and strategic insights to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and providing transparency on web initiatives.

Your Work Experience

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in web development, 3+ years in leadership roles; preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Managed and led corporate websites on multiple web platforms (Webflow, Wordpress, AEM, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of web technologies, platforms, and migration strategies, with a proven track record of successful web platform transitions. Experience with front-end frameworks and back-end technologies as a full stack developer
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide the web development team.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern web development technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-impact, user-centric web experiences.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript technologies and experience with database management and API integrations. 
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools ( i.e. JIRA, Confluence)

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
