Warehouse Technician – North Aurora, IL

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Technician to join our North Aurora, IL team. You will follow all safety rules while assembling, painting, and moving products using forklifts, power tools, and lifting equipment. They are responsible for verifying parts, maintaining 5S standards, and meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment.

You will: 

• Follow all documented safety rules and practices. 
• Utilize forklifts to move products within the facility. 
• Utilize spray gun to paint products. 
• Assemble products by utilizing power hand tools. 
• Verify parts to ensure they are correct per bill of material & pick list. 
• Use proper lifting techniques both manually and with lift assist devices including overhead crane to move products. 
• Perform daily Lean manufacturing 5S activities. 
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production goals. 

Key Qualifications: 

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. 
• Mechanical ability and prior experience with power hand tools. 
• Ability to operate a forklift. 
• Ability to read and comprehend facility orders. 
• Strong written and oral communication skills. 
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. 

Shift/Hours: 

• ​2nd shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm Monday – Friday 
• Training to be completed on 1st shift for up to six weeks (7am – 3pm)

Compensation: 

The hourly pay for this role is: $26.98/hr. (Plus 0.45 cents shift differential while working on 2nd shift) Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
