About the Role

Supports end-to-end private equity investment execution — from sourcing and due diligence (financial modeling, market/peer analysis, management interviews) to term negotiation, regulatory/compliance clearance, and post-investment monitoring — delivering rigorous, actionable insights to drive disciplined portfolio growth within AIA’s private markets strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support to execute incoming private equity investment opportunities, including attending management interview, analyzing data, performing portfolio company analysis, benchmarking performance against peers, preparing investment memo and etc.
  • Participate the negotiation with related parties on transaction structure, investment terms, and execute the investment.
  • Complete internal and external process necessary for conducting investment required by local regulatory and AIA requirements
  • Support to conduct due diligence for co-investment opportunities, including building up financial models, analyzing market dynamics, etc.
  • Assist the internal and external process necessary for conducting investment required by local regulatory and AIA requirements
  • Assist the post-investment team to fulfil the management requirement for invested portfolios
  • Perform market research and analysis
  • Be responsible for other tasks assigned by Team Head

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Strong industry and company research capabilities and be able to conduct fundamental analysis and produce high-quality, actionable deep-dive reports
  • Hands-on experience managing full-cycle due diligence
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational coordination skills; collaborative team player; detail-oriented; capable of handling challenging assignments under pressure; possesses independent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard office software
  • Prior work experience in insurance companies, securities firms, or accounting firms is preferred
