Job Overview:

Under broad guidance, responsible for creating and maintaining one or more of the IQVIA databases.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborates with peers and actively participates in client working sessions/meetings.
  • Tailors communications and approach based on the audience and their level of expertise.
  • Proactively analyzes output-identifying deviations that will impact IQVIA audits. Assures corrections are made and communicated to the appropriate stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Maintains and enhances the quality of the databases.
  • Coordinates/consults with functional areas to optimize the use of files and materials.
  • Provides project support & coordination, as well as day-to-day maintenance.
  • Identifies and implements new automation opportunities to create process efficiencies.
  • Defines/updates documentation as deemed necessary to maintain the quality of files and databases.
  • Identifies and implements methodologies to circumvent repetitive issues, which occur within the work structure.
  • Provides training for new and temporary employees working on the files.
  • Manipulates database query software and mainframe applications.
  • Uploads/downloads data upon demand.
  • Displays the ability to perform maintenance within all files.
  • May make database presentations to both internal and external customers.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years work related experience Req Or High School Diploma or equivalent Five (5) years work experience with IQVIA Database Operations Req
  • Proficiency in Windows applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proficient in written/oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to view data through both vertical and longitudinal quality controls.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and help design the process to prevent database issues.

Working Environment:

  • Candidate will be expected to be in office at our Wayne, PA location during training/onboarding
  • Wednesday are mandatory in-office once fully trained

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $59,600.00 - $99,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
