Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs pilot studies and writes research grants in a professional and scientifically sound manner; gathers background information on the research topic, develops experimental designs, assists in developing budgets, ensures that grants are completed by specified deadline and ensures studies are conducted according to research parameters.
Performs scientific experiments in accordance with grant specifications.
Interacts with clinical/scientific investigators in a professional manner in an effort to develop pilot data and define research methodologies.
Writes papers and reports on research; gathers data and relevant background information; creates flow charts, graphs, figures and photos that accurately reflect the results of the project.
Installs and maintains hardware and software systems as necessary in a timely and accurate manner.
