Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Eagle Veterinary Hospital. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently while fostering a collaborative, productive, and positive work environment. The Practice Manager will partner closely with the medical team to drive operational success, enhance client satisfaction, and support overall practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Management

  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to the veterinary and administrative team.

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.

  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on communication, accountability, and respect.

Operations & Financial Management

  • Manage clinic operations including inventory control, vendor relations, and workflow efficiency.

  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.

  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management.

Client Experience

  • Ensure an exceptional client experience through high service standards and timely communication.

  • Handle client concerns or complaints in a professional and compassionate manner.

  • Support team training on client communication and service excellence.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility for clients, patients, and staff.

  • Regularly update and enforce clinic protocols and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in veterinary practice management or a similar healthcare leadership role.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Proficient in financial reporting, inventory management, and scheduling.

  • Experience with veterinary practice software (e.g., AVImark, Cornerstone, or similar) is preferred.
