Pricing Manager for Europe, UK, MEA

The role will lead all aspects of cash and commercial cards deal flow including leading comprehensive pricing strategy, client profitability, and billing implementation process for Europe, UK and MEA markets. The person will co-ordinate with client facing team to understand the client needs and proposed solution to identify appropriate pricing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Price cash managed & cards deals, RFPs, rebids, and client pricing queries.
  • Analyse trends in recent wins/losses and portfolio pricing and apply learnings to regional pricing strategy focused on minimizing price compression and maximizing wallet penetration.
  • Lead pricing discussion with TTS Sector Heads, Product and Solution Sales Managers.
  • Test market with new pricing strategies to maximize win probabilities.
  • Target and implement repricing strategies across clusters to maximize revenues while ensuring minimal attrition.
  • Maintain cash pricing models and databases and work with Product/Sales to continually make enhancements.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of client portfolio to identify clients who under-utilise Citi services.
  • Drive customer Re-pricing, from clusters / global strategy to customer communications, negotiations, and executions.
  • Periodic activities such as product costing, global P&L analysis, and client P&L management, alternative pricing methodologies, support developing benchmarks by industry/peer group.
  • Develop recommendations to advise Citi's senior management on high-priority initiatives, including growth strategy, product and segment strategies, and cross business initiatives.
  • Work directly with the Solution Sales Specialist and Banker on value proposition and liaise directly with senior management where necessary to gather approvals.
  • Partner with Billing to drive initiatives for Pricing to Billing process simplification and revenue recovering.
  • Working across cross-functional teams including implementations, account managers, sales, billing, and ASU to refine the processes.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Knowledge / experience:

  • Desire to work with many different people daily.
  • Superior MS Office Suite skills are a must.
  • Above average analytical skills mandatory.
  • Experience with data tools like Excel, Tableau.
  • Modelling experience, Statistics, Data Science, and Tech Backgrounds are a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferred.
