As an Azure Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you’ll be a key player in shaping the software development lifecycle within the Azure environment. Your expertise will drive efficiency, security, and reliability across the entire process.

Location and Workplace Flexibility: 

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Azure DevOps and Terraform, including codifying infrastructure components (virtual machines, networking, storage) to ensure consistency and version control

  • Collaborate closely with development teams, Azure architects, and other DevOps engineers

  • Enforce best practices for version control, branching strategies, and code reviews

  • Implement security measures throughout the DevOps lifecycle

  • Conduct code scanning, perform vulnerability assessments, and manage access control

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and industry regulations

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps

  • Keep documentation up-to-date and accessible to team members

  • Familiarize yourself with Azure PaaS services, including Azure SQL, KeyVault, Storage Account, App Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure API Management, and Container Apps

  • Implement Azure Disaster Recovery for both IaaS and PaaS solutions

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience working in Azure cloud environments

  • Experience with Microsoft platform technologies

  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications), security best practices, and automation technologies to deliver end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience with incident management and post-incident reviews

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging Bash or PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency

  • Familiarity with Azure governance components such as RBAC, Policy, and Azure PIM

  • Understand VNET and Subnet creation in Azure

  • Experience configuring peering between VNETs, manage NSG, and work with Route Tables and Azure vWAN
