Plastic injection Molding experience required**

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for executing sales strategies and plans to meet and exceed revenue targets for our products and related projects within the assigned region. This role involves identifying and prioritizing key target markets and segments, and implementing focused sales initiatives to capture market share and drive growth.

The Sales Engineer will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as engineering and procurement contractors. They will also work closely with the team to establish our brand presence in their individual regions.

The role requires managing the sales pipeline, forecasting, tracking sales performance, and reporting on key metrics to senior management. The Sales Engineer will negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements, ensuring they align with company policies, profitability targets, and customer requirements.

The Sales Engineer will collaborate with project management and process engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. They will also participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand the company's network within the region.

This position is remote in Mexico and requires extensive travel within the region and at times abroad, with an expectation of at least 80% travel time.

Work You’ll Do:

  • Execute sales strategies and plans provided by the company to achieve revenue targets for our products and related projects in the assigned region.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, engineering & procurement contractors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with network the team, helping them to establish the brand presence into their individual regions.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and tracking sales performance and reporting on key metrics to senior management.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies, profitability targets, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management and process engineering teams from HQ to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand the company's network within the region when company requires.
  • Able to travel within the region is a must and able to travel abroad. Expect at least 80% travelling.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Specialized Technician.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience; sales of technical products within the plastic industry, business development, or account management within plastics or related markets.
  • English proficiency: Advanced (Business).
  • Driver´s license required.
  • Passport and working towards or currently has a US visa.
  • Location: West Mexico territory region for sales so preferable location in Guadalajara, León or Aguascalientes areas.

  • Must be PC proficient – Windows and network systems.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Good negotiation skills
