The Technology Operational Performance Manager will lead the drive towards a culture of continuous improvement in our technology organization.  This role will be responsible for process improvement across our Technology organization, leveraging measures, business process mapping, and various process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Kaizen, Six Sigma.  In addition this role will also be responsible for developing and coordinating the execution of improvements across the organization while coaching and training our employees on process improvement methodologies. 

Office location: Primarily Boston-USA Office

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days from home

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our organization’s operational performance is continuously optimized and focused
  • Collaborate with key Technology stakeholders to establish performance metrics and improvement targets aligned with strategic goals.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to optimize Technology delivery processes for our business, enterprise, and our customers
  • Identify key measures, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of process improvements
  • Analyze, design, and implement optimization strategies for various operational inefficiencies and collaboratively champion change
  • Provide training and coaching to employees in Lean principles and other process improvement techniques
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Total Quality Management, Process Mapping or similar
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with high big picture awareness
  • A strong understanding of technology delivery process with experience in Agile project and teams
  • Experience in an agile working environment, project delivery, software delivery methodologies, and software delivery lifecycle
  • Knowledge of common market enterprise technology platforms and tools
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and the mental agility to overcome challenges and forge new paths to attain goal
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, courage to make trade-offs

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

Boston, Massachusetts

Salary range is expected to be between

$102,200.00 USD - $189,800.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
