Job Description:

The job holder will act as the primary resource for reward analytics. He/she will gather, manage, analyse compensation data and provide findings/recommendations. The person will support the annual global pay benchmarking exercise and will be a key player in the annual global compensation campaigns. He/she will be highly involved in the HRIS systems to ensure right compensation data scheme is in place and data is accurate, and manage the set-up of compensation review campaigns.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join us as Reward Analyst. This role is for someone who has an experience in managing and analysing compensation data , hands-on, ideally in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for data as well as for innovative technical solutions (ideally Workday and Power BI).

The role is based in Geneva and is fully integrated into the HR team; he/she will report directly to the Head of Reward & HRIS.

Main Responsilibities

  • Act as the primary resource for reward analytics,

  • Support the annual compensation benchmarking exercise – collation  and submission of our employee data and provide adhoc analytics on compensation position vs market,

  • Provide support for job matching process,

  • Assist with the maintenance of our job architecture (internal levelling structure analysis, job catalogue updates, compensation data audit),

  • Support the HR team in the yearly compensation review process : global coordination, schemes modelling, set-up of campaigns in Workday, the HCM system of Gunvor & data analysis and verifications,

  • Manage large datasets and analyse the information to present findings, comparisons, and recommendations in a concise and user-friendly format for Head of HR, HRBPs, Reward and business stakeholders,

  • Closely work with the Talent Acquisition team to monitor and collate relevant candidate data, including salary levels, expectations, talent pool size, arising trends, etc

  • Gather and collate salary data from external sources, including recruitment partners, competitors, etc

  • Benefits benchmarking: monitor the effectiveness of current benefits offerings, ensuring we remain competitive and broadly comparable in each country,

  • Contribute to the annual gender pay gap report,

  • Prepare relevant compensation analysis for quarterly Board Meetings,

  • Analyse and make recommendations for compensation data scheme and reporting improvements to HRIS platforms,

  • Prepare reports in compliance with auditors/regulators as requested,

  • Play an active part in the global Reward and HRIS team of 5 employees.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree as a minimum (in economics, stats or similar field).

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role,

  • Experience in supporting groupwide compensation programmes, ideally within a global and complex environment,

  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities with excellent advanced MS Excel skills required. Workday and Power BI highly appreciated,

  • Experience in external market data benchmarking and sources including job matching methodologies, pay elements and survey submissions,

  • Experience in data manipulation and modelling of large sets of data with ability to interpret the results to ensure accuracy and validity with strong attention to detail,

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales in the face of competing priorities.

  • Team -player with a positive and entrepreneurial attitude,

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills to interact with the HR team and the wider business,

  • Creativity in design and solutioning​,

  • Capable of working effectively and independently,

  • Ability to prioritise workload and provide timely follow-up,

  • Ability to keep information confidential.
