About Us - Laboratory 

• Freeman West results over 3.53 million tests a year and issues over 550 units of blood each month

• Other Labs at Freeman include the Cornell Beshore Cancer Institute Lab and Freeman Neosho Laboratory  

• Draw stations are located inside Freeman East, the Bentlage Building and the Women’s Pavilion  

• There are over 140 employees in the Labs at Freeman and all of them are highly talented and patient-centric individuals

Schedule: Full Time Days (40hrs/week)

What You'll Do

Prepares routine and special histologic and cytologic specimens for pathology examination.

Requirements

Documented acceptance to and continued enrollment in an accredited Histology Technician program and certification as a Histology Technician within one year of successfully completing the program. OR if program has been completed, must obtain certification with one year of hire date.

High school graduate or equivalent.
