The Opportunity
This position works out of our location San Juan, Puerto Rico in the Core Lab Division. We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
The Regional Commercial/Sales Manager is responsible to leads the commercial team (Caribbean region- CAR) sales and margin goals. This role must execute a clear strategy to grow market share, ensure client centricity, team development, and exceed plan commitments. Expected to collaborate with cross functional roles to align and drive region success. Develop and execute an annual strategic plan to meet sales and margin commitment.
What You’ll Do
Lead CAR Region Sales Team to grow the region in profitable manners. Define goals for each Sales Representative and distributor and drive executions.
Distributor Business Management.
Monitor Distributor Performance and Contract Compliance.
Distributor Optimization (onboarding, and termination).
Maximize sales and margin through the distributor network.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is required.
5+ years in sales roles focused on healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical devices, hospitals) with demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions to ensure they work together to deliver results.
Experience in managing sales thru distributors channel.
3-5 years’ experience in people management.
Coaching and personnel development skills
Superior communication skills
English and Spanish fluency are required.
Willing to travel to travel 65% of the time
Digital skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management Software. Salesforce.com or another CRM tool. Power BI

The base pay for this position is
$88,700.00 – $177,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
