You will take the lead in developing and executing clear, cohesive strategic marketing plans tailored to the growing market opportunities for Franklin Templeton’s business in the France, Benelux, and Nordics region. This role oversees all client channels—advisory, discretionary, and institutional—while collaborating closely with senior business and sales leaders, client service teams, and EMEA Marketing across channels. You will also work in partnership with Global Marketing, Product Management, and Portfolio Management to deliver outstanding marketing programs that drive business growth and enhance the client experience.
While this is a leadership role, you will also be actively involved in hands-on local marketing initiatives, supported by a small team.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop localized marketing strategies - working closely with the local business and sales leaders, and also Global and EMEA Marketing to tailor materials, optimize campaign deployment, and track performance. You will also partner with Corporate Communications, Portfolio Management, and media agencies to enhance brand visibility through institutional advertising. A key focus will be leveraging AI to improve efficiency and utilizing social media to engage a younger, tech-savvy audience.
Develop, manage, evaluate and review marketing strategy (including content) for the France, Benelux, Nordics region ensuring alignment with brand, sales and overall business objectives
Drive the full marketing mix across client channels, implement key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ROI, in collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders
Lead the execution of local marketing activities in France, from planning to implementation
Manage and mentor a small team of marketing professionals, fostering growth and performance
Build a strong partnership with the local leadership teams to align on strategic priorities and ensure marketing initiatives support business goals
Develop, maintain and evolve marketing literature, working closely with the content, product marketing, sales and product specialist to create compelling brand and product messaging
Plan and execute local events and conferences in collaboration with local client-facing teams and other stakeholders
Manage and update local websites, ensuring content remains relevant, aligns with corporate messaging, and integrates with local and regional sales activities
Oversee local PR initiatives in partnership with Corporate Communications and external agencies
Continuously assess and refine marketing strategies through data analysis and performance metrics
Conduct and analyse third -party research to inform strategic decisions
Deep knowledge of the French market, with experience in France, Benelux, and Nordics preferred
Extensive marketing leadership experience in asset management/financial services
Strong understanding of marketing production (including Compliance) and digital marketing
Technical expertise in investments and asset classes for clear, compelling messaging
In-depth knowledge of target markets, distribution channels, and client needs
Exceptional writing, grammar, and communication skills—French and English required; additional languages a plus
Established relationships with conference organizers, agencies, and industry peers preferred.
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; experience with MS Dynamics, Workday, and Marketo is a plus
Team player with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
