About the role:

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you’ll work closely with sales representatives, product solutions consultants, legal, contract administration, business unit owners, billing and finance to generate and prepare pricing proposals for delivery to clients. You’ll be responsible for preparing and providing pricing proposals while helping to build out our pricing model. You’ll have the chance to support a variety of different products related to our commercial lending solutions.

Join our Capital Markets team today! You’ll have an exciting opportunity to support our commercial lending business with a focus on the North American market. You’ll work with our sales team on pricing commercial lending products for new and existing clients to maximize value and minimize risk.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide pricing and contract approval for all deals in region provides pricing proposals for sales executives and relationship managers.
  • Provide pricing across a portfolio of solutions with varying complexity. Pricing may include a combination of software, professional services, hosting, and business process outsourcing.
  • Leverage price lists and calculator models to compile all the elements required to price deals. Pricing includes profitability analysis and assessing other performance metrics.
  • Provide strategic, pricing and contract support to Sales and Account Management teams located around the globe.
  • Thoughtfully synthesize and present analysis and pricing recommendations for complex deals to senior leadership.
  • Identify win/loss characteristics of deals and be able to make recommendations on various structures and business investment requirements to help improve win rate.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Management, Professional Services, Managed Services, Pre-Sales, and Client Experience teams to understand costs, develop creative pricing structures, and strategies for complex transactions which include a combination of software, professional services, hosting, and business process outsourcing.
  • Routinely reviews pricing proposals for quality assurance based on department standards as related to discounts and credits.
  • Creates and recommends new product pricing enhancements affecting entire client base.

What you will need:

  • 7-10 years of pricing experience including price modelling, pricing management, bid pricing, pricing tools, price calculations, and pricing strategies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
  • Sound knowledge of pricing strategy with an emphasis on value based concepts including economic value analysis, role of costs in pricing decisions, segmented pricing approaches, life cycle pricing concepts, best practice negotiation strategies, & price sensitivity factors and measurement techniques.
  • Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public
  • General business skills, financial services industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills with experience working in a large matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand and apply learned concepts
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $84,720.00 - $142,320.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
