Position Summary

CVS Health Digital is looking for a dynamic and driven Sr Manager Digital Engineering to lead back-end engineering teams tasked with creating best in class experiences focused on identifying, prioritizing and shaping complex enterprise initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders. In this role, you will be leading teams of engineers to drive the delivery of our clinical data domain platform. This includes driving strategy and execution of consuming data from varied sources and serve stakeholder applications for reference and pre-pop scenarios.

 

You will provide strategic leadership for the digital engineering teams building back-end service development; use your technical and people management skills to support, manage and mentor engineering professionals with deep and varying backgrounds and experience. You will also influence roadmaps for future efforts and work in collaboration with stakeholder to align those with business objectives.

 

You should have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and strong software engineering and people management skills. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated, collaborative individual; motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. This role can work from a remote position.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software development work experience
  • 2+ years experience leading large cross functional project management initiatives
  • 2+ years experience with Agile/Scrum practices


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large teams
  • Experience leading large cross functional project management initiatives
  • Experience managing large teams
  • Advanced communication/presentation skills needed to represent your team with stakeholders and management
  • Experience with .NET software and tooling
  • Knowledge of Github, Confluence and other cooperation tools


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
