Job Summary
The Cleveland Clinic Center for Environment, Place and Health Research (CEPHR) is recruiting a program manager. The position will involve a combination of coordination and management of center resources, including geospatial software and pilot research programs, along with hands on, community engaged outreach and research recruitment. Experience with geospatial software (ArcGIS) and community outreach/engagement is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities.
- Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
- Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
- Allocates time to meet completion requirements. Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
- Coordinates and assists CEPHR pilot grant awardees with award applications.
- Assigns and manages access to center resources, including geospatial software.
- Assists with community outreach initiatives.
- Assists with center research initiatives, including participant recruitment, field sampling and dissemination/community engagements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Associate’s degree and five years of experience may substitute the Bachelors degree requirement.
- Master’s degree and two years of experience may substitute for one year of experience.
Certifications:
- May be required for specific positions as per policy or regulation.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
- Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Work Experience:
- Three years of experience in project management preferably in community outreach or engagement, data analysis or program management, and systems training.
- Experience with using geospatial software for service delivery, outreach or data analysis strongly preferred.
- Spanish language fluency is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
