Full-Stack Developer

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full-stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

• Experience in full-stack development roles, including the design, development, and deployment of secure and scalable web applications
• Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience in server-side programming with languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET, for building secure and high-performance back-end systems
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient and secure interaction with components
• Experience with secure software development practices and frameworks, including OWASP guidance and security standards for sensitive systems
• Knowledge of database technologies, including relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL options such as MongoDB and DynamoDB
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, to support scalable and resilient full-stack deployments
• Ability to implement automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Selenium, or Cypress, to ensure system reliability and security
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a CS or Software Engineering field

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience integrating AI/ML model outputs into web applications, including optimizing model-driven UI/UX elements for real-time interaction
• Experience with visualization tools and libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, and ggplot2, for presenting actionable insights
• Experience with Agile methods and DevSecOps workflows to optimize team collaboration and secure deployment practices
• Experience with classified networks and regulations concerning authentication, access control, and cybersecurity
• Experience working with security clearances to operate classified or sensitive systems
• Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, for deploying secure front-end or back-end systems
• Ability to document workflows and collaborate across software development, AI engineering, and operations teams
• Ability to create intuitive visual interfaces and dashboards catering to both technical and non-technical users
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
