Overview

In this role, you will configure, install, administer, operate, upgrade, monitor, sustain, and support existing data centers, networks, hardware, software, processes, applications, systems, databases, desktops, peripherals, and other related infrastructure. You will be responsible for service delivery across all technology domains and all consumers, including execution of all backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and related capabilities.

  • Leads disciplinary or multi-functional program of notable risk; uses sophisticated analytical capabilities to identify creative solutions
  • Accountable for work of self and others; sets standards around which others will operate
  • Works independently, with mentoring in only the most complex situations
  • Acts as advisor to management and key external partners on broad-ranging projects

Role Summary and Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates across support teams to quickly resolve disruptions to technology services, performs root cause analysis, and takes preventative measures
  • Approves production readiness of technology solutions and application deployments
  • Reviews performance trends across the broader technology portfolio and initiates actions to address areas at risk for potential impacts
  • Actively identifies and addresses vulnerabilities
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of essential formulas and algorithms
  • Capable of dissecting a problem into manageable parts
  • Provides feedback and mentoring to others who have management responsibility
  • Holds associates and teams accountable for adhering to practices and policies
  • May lead initiatives of varying degrees of complexity

Business Knowledge

  • Possesses solid understanding of the tech and asset management industries and internal business units to enable navigation of key partners and understanding of impact

Qualifications

Required:

  • Typically has 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Possesses domain expert knowledge in your own area
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the broader technology portfolio
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and technologies
  • Evaluates capacity utilization and initiates projects to address areas of excess and shortages
  • Reviews planned changes for alignment to target state and for consistency to policies before being implementation
  • Works across teams to review technology portfolio and make recommendations for procedures and practices

  • Authentication Protocols
  • Active Directory / DNS / DHCP
  • Certificate Lifecycle Management
  • Privileged Access Management solutions
  • Microsoft Security suite (EntraID, Defender, Identity Protection)
  • Observability Platforms (Splunk, Grafana)

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.

Base salary ranges:

$132,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: California, New York
$116,000.00 - $198,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C
$105,500.00 - $180,000.00 for the location of: Colorado, Maryland, Washington and all other US locations

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the roleBase salary is only one component of our total compensation packageEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
