As the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) you'll oversee and manage the regulatory compliance framework of Western Alliance Bank and all affiliated entities. This role ensures that the bank adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, thereby safeguarding the bank's integrity and reputation. The CCO leads the compliance department, collaborates with senior management, and provides strategic direction to mitigate compliance risks. You'll provide end-to-end oversight of the bank's Compliance Management System (CMS) and compliance programs, partnering with business leaders and senior executives to ensure compliance programs remain robust and functional. You'll contribute to the Bank's Risk Management efforts and second line of defense programs and provide strategic leadership to the Bank, including guidance on evolving best practices while remaining appraised of regulatory developments and adjusting compliance policies and practices accordingly. You'll manage and lead staff in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical solutions to protect and minimize compliance risk.What you'll need:
