We are seeking a Senior Partner Marketing Manager to support the US Public Sector Partner Sales Team and work closely with Appian’s most strategic public sector partners and GSIs to support the development, planning, and execution of marketing plans and demand generation programs. The Senior Partner Marketing Manager will facilitate strong collaboration across Appian’s marketing department to drive campaigns to expand awareness of the Appian brand, support lead generation to drive pipeline, and support sponsorship sales for Appian’s premier events. A proven track record of helping build joint go-to-market strategies and experience working alongside a fast-moving global partnership team is key. You have an innovation mindset and are on the hunt for innovative strategies and eager to test new tactics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and execute joint marketing programs with key partners, track and report on key performance metrics, review and analyze the results of launched initiatives to make data driven recommendations for future campaigns.
Regularly manage and review pipeline performance metrics with key stakeholders and analyze ROI by campaign, channel, segment and source in order to improve lead and pipeline quality.
Develop and manage marketing assets needed to support our joint brand with key partners and support go-to-market campaigns. Review and optimize the performance of partner content.
Evaluate marketing proposals from partners to determine efficiency, GTM alignment with overall marketing strategy and bring forth initiatives for approval.
Support Appian integrated campaign launch efforts by being the voice of the partner, and support partner participation efforts including collateral, communication strategy, training tools, and related activities.
Provide event support for Appian’s partner events and assist in planning and execution of our Appian Government sponsorship program.
Advocate effectively for partners and their needs throughout Appian.
Help to elevate Appian as a priority partner within key partner organizations.
Basic Qualifications:
7 - 9 years of experience in an integrated public sector-focused marketing role in an enterprise software or consultancy environment
Experience crafting results-driven marketing programs and demonstrating ROI
Campaign management and/or Partner/Alliances experience is required
Exhibits professionalism when collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
Critical thinking, problem solving skills and excellent project management skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, results-oriented environment
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Ability to travel approximately up to 10-15%
