What to Expect?

Warehouse Housekeeper must be safety minded at all times, quality committed, and production oriented. They must be an effective communicator, credible and decisive, and possess team building skills. Must become familiar with the safety/PPE requirements specific to all departments.   Must be well-organized, analytical, flexible, and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.  Must be able to work in an environment that may include distinctive/strong odors and dusty conditions.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include added shifts and weekends as production needs dictate.

On a daily basis our Warehouse Housekeeping:

• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and care of equipment

• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of all production as needed

• In charge of keeping pedestrian walkway clean; Disposal of trash from bins and containers

• Dust safety rails, and clean windows in all production and maintenance rooms

• Keep production sinks, basins, clean in the production areas

• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed

• Keep all production spaces neat and tidy

• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job

• Any other assigned tasks as assigned

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education

• Ability to lift up to 0 to 50 pounds

• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and ability to stand for long lengths of time

• Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided

• Pays attention to detail when cleaning

• Organized and able to follow a schedule

• Able to follow verbal directions.
