Summary

Leads and supports sales agents to achieve marketing, service, and compliance goals with the objective of increasing and retaining ACA and other individual health product enrollment nationwide. Plans and coordinates resources to support sales and retention for U65 products, including ACA Marketplace, off-exchange, and supplemental plans. Acts as a liaison between carriers and sales agents to ensure alignment on goals, compliance, and member experience.


Essential Functions

  • The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role; additional duties may be assigned.

  • Recruits, trains, and supports sales agents, assisting in the development of sales goals, performance metrics, and personal development plans.

  • Implements marketing strategies for ACA and other individual health products to drive sales and retention across assigned territories.

  • Participates in the creation of annual ACA/U65 sales plans and takes accountability for achieving assigned targets.

  • Assists in setting production goals and compliance standards, clearly communicating expectations to agents and monitoring ongoing adherence.

  • Collaborates with external partners, including community organizations, carrier representatives, and healthcare providers, to generate leads and support growth.

  • Monitors lead flow, conversion data, and other performance analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement; initiates timely action.

  • Ensures adherence to all compliance processes and applicable ACA/state regulatory requirements.

  • Contributes to developing and refining sales processes, reports, and tracking tools for the agent sales channel.

Required Work Experience

  • 2–3 years related work experience in sales, individual health insurance sales, or related field.

  • Prior experience supporting or managing a small team preferred.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida Health & Life (2-15) insurance license.

  • Familiarity with ACA Marketplace enrollment processes and compliance requirements.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HealthSherpa).

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and develop agents.

  • Bilingual Spanish and/or Creole preferred.

  • Prior community outreach or marketing experience is a plus.
