JR52381 Manager, Assembly Equipment Engineering Manager for Mold

An equipment engineering manager ensures the production equipment is in control and the quality/reliability of the product meets expectations.

This role monitor equipment performance key indicators, set goals, and drive the team to meet expectations.

This role establish teams to work on continuous improvement, establish an indirect spare inventory system for key equipment, and sustain and improve the key performance indices of the equipment through continuous improvement activities/projects.

This role also establish teams to work on continuous improvement projects, reduce costs through continuous cost reduction efforts, monitor spare costs, and drive down liabilities of spare inventories.

This role ensure effective and efficient risk management strategies, define, develop, and maintain equipment capabilities, strategies, and roadmaps, and maintain a matrix on equipment capabilities and constraints.

This role develop a strategy to develop new capabilities or overcome identified process constraints, constantly look out for new equipment suppliers/new technology and capability, and work with equipment suppliers to develop new capabilities together with KEG.
