The team of nurses who staff Guest First Aid facilities, located in each of the Walt Disney World theme parks is looking for a registered nurse to provide exceptional service to Guests who seek out First Aid services and assistance. This position requires you to work while Guests play.

This is a full time role requiring five 8 hour shifts per week, every week. You will be working weekends with two weekdays off. This role is a project hire - fixed term position for 31 weeks.

In this role you will:

  • Follow established practices for care outlined under Florida RN licensure standards and Disney Policies and standing orders

  • Use critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities to accurately provide medical assessment and care. When appropriate, and based on the assessment of a guest's situation, refer guests to a higher level of care, such as local urgent clinics and/or emergency services

  • Work collaboratively with other roles in a Guest facing focused environment

  • Multi-task in a competent, efficient manner with solution-oriented work habits in a fast paced environment

  • Provide exceptional service and service recovery to guests

  • Exhibit a positive and friendly attitude

  • Establish great working relationships

You will have:

  • Active and clear Florida Registered Nursing license

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ Years Nursing Experience

  • BLS Certified

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Demonstrated high quality clinical skills and decision making

  • Demonstrated strong guest service oriented skills in an operational environment

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated strong partnering and relationship building skills

  • Proven decision making skills

  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with basic ability to work within a Microsoft Office suite of programs

  • Independent and self-motivated to work in a team environment

  • Full availability with work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and rotating shifts

  • Ability to push, pull a wheelchair; or drive a vehicle as needed to care for Guests

  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time to walk, lift, squat, push, pull and/or carry heavy objects, up to 30 lbs.

  • Excellent hearing and ability to see, and full use of hands for patient assessment and to control, handle or feel objects and tools

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds as it relates to medical supply transport and/or stocking

  • Languages in addition to English
