Job Description
Summary:
Reporting to the Quality Engineer, you will monitor the compliance of Plant's manufacturing processes and products with our Quality standards. Perform inspection of components, assemblies and finished product during the manufacturing process to validate conformance. Interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final products.
Principles responsibilities:
Conduct routine process and product audits per defined schedule to monitor our processes and product compliance with ISO 9001 and other important third-party quality standards and appearance of Finished Products following the applicable Outgoing Audit Procedures (OAP).
Escalate findings identified during the process and product audits and request corrective actions to address the findings. Perform Non-conformance material reports as applicable and perform the segregation of suspicious materials in production lines or warehouse.
You need to make sure all work orders are completed and have all the documentation and completed test inspection (visual, dimensional, functional and physical) before closing the order.
Perform line clearance at the beginning and during the process of each work order ensuring that the manufacturing lines are in a state of regulatory compliance at the beginning of each work order. Ensure that is no mix of materials during the run of a work order on the production line.
Ensure first piece procedure is being complete correctly by production lines and quality support.
You will verify that corrective actions arising from process findings are taken and implemented.
Certify production operators in the different assembly processes. Ensure the follow up to the employee requested to train during 28 days after the request.
Take random samples of components, subassemblies and finish products to evaluate and validate the compliance with established requirements.
You will have de responsibility of Monitor the defects caused in each of the processes of its production lines. Participate in the analysis and investigation processes of the non-conformities raised.
Minimum Requirements:
University Student in Engineering or related with no experience required.
One year of experience in quality control, Manufacturing and production processes or similar jobs.
Office package (Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint).
Basic level of English.
