Course: Tax Core

This course is a review of concepts frequently tested on the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam: Regulation and Taxation Core (REG). Students reinforce concepts learned in undergraduate work and apply them by completing questions and simulations similar to those found on the Uniform CPA Exam.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Preferred: PhD/DBA Accounting or Doctorate in an accounting related discipline AND
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Masters in Accounting, or Masters in Taxation required if Doctorate is not in a business discipline.
• Minimum: Masters in Accounting, Masters in Taxation, or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) AND
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
