What can you expect in an IT Senior Manager, Applications role with TaskUs:
The Solutions Architect / IT Senior Manager is responsible for leading the design, strategy, and internal development of Endeavor’s technology solutions, including Workforce Management (WFM) and other enterprise products. The role ensures that all systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. This includes defining technical architecture, overseeing solution delivery, managing cross-functional development teams, and collaborating with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and other technology groups to deliver high-performing, integrated platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable architectures across internal systems, including WFM, timekeeping, analytics, and other enterprise applications.
Define and maintain the overall technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise standards.
Lead the design and integration of APIs, data pipelines, and EDW connections to support operational and analytical needs.
Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and UI/UX Designers.
Collaborate with stakeholders, Cloud Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and performance of solutions.
Oversee code reviews, change management, and version control to maintain system integrity and development quality.
Ensure compliance with security standards, architecture principles, and development best practices.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating new tools, technologies, and design patterns relevant to WFM and enterprise systems.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of software development and architecture experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven background in developing or integrating Workforce Management tools such as IEX or NICE, and understanding of scheduling, forecasting, adherence, and timekeeping processes.
Strong knowledge of GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms.
Proficient in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
Experience with Git, API design, and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) integration.
Familiarity with DevOps, security best practices, and code review standards.
Understanding of WFM terminologies and metrics, including Erlang C, time-off management, scheduling, and forecasting.
Can start ASAP or within 30 days.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
