Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Director of Supply Chain Operations for our Supply Chain department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Director of Supply Chain Operations, you will:
• Manages the effective and efficient operation of the materials management system.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions based off reports and data that come from the automated inventory management systems that will lead to superior outcomes.
• Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of inventory.
• Reviews daily reports and statistical data for correctness and quality assurance, identifying issues and corrective action for process improvements.
• Responsible for determining supply and equipment needs across the organization and ensuring that operational needs are met.
• Investigate and solve complex and unique problems as they occur to maintain the proper functionality of processes as specified in department business practices, as well as problems that relate to inventory management.
• Maintains ongoing knowledge associated with operational and technical aspects of the purchasing and supply system.
• Understand and practice the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Supervises all activities of the organization's materials management departments.
• Provides strategic and operational guidance for the supply chain.
• Attends many hospital meetings and represents the department on hospital committees

Qualifications include:
• Customer and Business Focused

• Strong organizational skills
• Communicative (written and verbal)
• Proficient in materials management information systems (MMIS)
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment
• Bachelor's Degree and/or 10+ years’ experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or similar function in a complex, multi-site enterprise.
• Experience: 5 - 10 Years of supply chain and healthcare administration
• Supervisor/Management Experience: 5 Years of managerial and/or supervisory experience in materials management.

Pay Range:

$96,058.56 - $144,081.60

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.

Tobacco and Drug Statement

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
