The Leasing Experience Assistant collaborates with and assists the Leasing Director or Leasing Manager with various duties and functions that contribute positively to the overall success of leasing operations for assigned market(s), to include achievement of occupancy, rent growth and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Duties are administrative in nature and also involve direct interaction with leasing professionals, as well as with other department managers and associates.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensures data accuracy for all leasing activity (inclusive of prices, rent ready dates, application status, marketing verbiage, photos, etc.) across applicable platforms including Company website, Yardi, Salesforce and MLS

  • Oversees premarketing and rent ready marketing efforts to ensure homes are listed timely, accurately, and advertising conveys the correct future resident expectations with respect to availability and home features

  • Available to assist with leasing professional inquiries, application questions and prospective resident offers daily

  • Partners with Rehab and Turn leader(s) to optimize the preleasing process, including verification of estimated completion dates and communication with Superintendents to ensure delivery of rent ready homes in alignment with future residents’ expectations

  • Works with the appropriate resources to address prospective resident technical issues such as gate codes, Self-Show functionality, online applications and online payments

  • Processes weekly internal and external commission payments and facilitates requisite approvals

  • Monitors data integrity and leasing activity dashboards and addresses exceptions with appropriate team members

  • Collects and analyzes data and information to aid in market and leasing professional performance evaluation

  • Supports the application, lease execution and move-in process by tracking timely completion of associated tasks and intervening where needed

  • Facilitates resolution of prospective and future resident escalated issues

Who We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of residential leasing and/or management experience is preferred

  • Current driver license and automobile insurance

  • Real estate license preferred

  • Other licenses and/or certifications as required by state law.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical and accounting functions

  • Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to make quick and effective decisions

  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines

  • Ability to maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situations

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to drive an automobile

Salary Range

$19.11 - $33.13
