Join us as Pricing Excellence Manager, Human Health Biosolutions (HHB)

The Pricing Excellence Manager is responsible for setting and implementing the overall pricing strategy for HHB. Based on a strong market understanding, the Pricing Excellence Manager recommends pricing strategies to the portfolio & sales team teams to maximize profitability. In close collaboration with the Corporate Commercial Excellence team, the role engages in continuous improvement of pricing processes, policies, and tools to facilitate to support pricing decisions and their implementation.

We are a newly formed team working closely with our Sales & Marketing teams to help them excel. We generate measurable value by bringing transparency into sales performance, ensuring best-in-class pricing, optimizing SalesForce to improve functionality and user-friendliness, training our commercial teams to be the best team in the industry and helping them find the customers of tomorrow.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Setting & implementing the overall HHB pricing strategy

  • Setting & implementing the HHB pricing framework and reference points for price setting & benchmarking

  • In-depths analysis of market trends, demand & supply dynamics, customer behavior/segments & competitor pricing

  • Recommending portfolio/product level pricing strategies that maximize profitability in-line with the pricing framework

  • Leading implementation of price changes in close collaboration with the Portfolio and B2B Execution teams

  • Creating dashboards to track product portfolio margin

  • Developing and maintaining pricing process, policies, and governance frameworks

  • Ensuring implementation & optimization of relevant pricing tools in CRM

  • Evaluating and implementing pricing software solutions, analytical tools, and pricing models to support pricing decision-making and execution – in close collaboration with Corporate Commercial Excellence

To succeed you must hold:

  • >10 years’ experience from a global B2B business within the international consumer healthcare or nutrition industry in commercial roles.

  • >5 years’ experience in working with Pricing Excellence.

  • Have a strong commercial acumen, excellent analytical skills and be able to communicate and influence cross-functionally with ease.

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset to build a new function that learns & adapts quickly to maximize its value to the organization.

  • Business background and experience with science based/technical ingredients or semi/finished products. Dual degrees (Science and Business) are a plus.

  • Ideally experience with the pricing of Food Supplement products.

  • Excellent oral and written English skills.
