About Our Team

The Security Business Operations Manager at Salesforce faces ongoing challenges in maintaining a unified vision and operational strategy within a growing organization. Product Security includes numerous security and compliance leaders supporting over 10 products, along with strategic functions that provide risk telemetry, data, and prioritization criteria.

In this role, you will demonstrate your technical and strategic skills to articulate and complete the organization’s vision across all team functions, engaging with Security partners, cross-business collaborators, and senior executives. You will design and implement key operational processes and standards to align teams with the Product Security vision, implement organizational strategies, advocate for resources, communicate progress to executive leadership, and drive continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities include building strong relationships within the team and with trusted partners in Security and the broader business. You will collaborate with team members to set short-term and long-term priorities, communicate and measure progress, identify inefficiencies, and develop cross-functional plans for continuous improvement.



 

Impact - Responsibilities 

  • Track and run the execution of Product Security’s annual strategy and goal-setting exercises

  • Maintain rhythm of supervising and reporting mechanisms to communicate team progress, risks, and blockers to various partners and executives through both short- and long-term lenses

  • Lead all aspects of strategic Product Security initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and collaborators

  • Act as business liaison to key inter- and cross-business team members and represent strategy, recommendations, and go-forward activities with Product Security priorities in mind. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security or any related fields 

  • 7+years in a business or executive management, technology business operations, or related role

  • 2+ years of experience with Information Security, e.g. GRC, detection logging, vulnerability scanning, etc.

  • Confirmed experience organizing and advising multiple teams and departments

  • Demonstrated experience planning and leading strategic Information Security initiatives

  • Designing and implementing data analytics strategies, and leading associated budgets

  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on executive communications

  • Skilled at analyzing and responding to new, unfamiliar information quickly

  • Proficient in developing structure and strategy to solve ambiguous problems

  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, presentation, and written skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization

  • Self-directed and process-oriented, with experience in hitting milestones with dates

  • Customer-focused: you know how to balance your "get it done" attitude with diplomacy to be able to work effectively across different teams and at all levels

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $165,600 to $227,700.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
