Digital Transformation Intern

This position is for a 10-week Summer Internship.  The Digital Transformation Intern will support within Retail Banking and Transformation. 

This 2025 Summer Internship is for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.  

This internship position is remote, but should be located in:  

  • Miami, FL
  • New York, NY
  • Boston, MA
  • Dallas, TX

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager who specializes in using Jira to streamline processes, manage complex workflows, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

As a Project Manager with Jira expertise, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned and deadlines are met. A key part of your role will be using Jira to manage epics, user stories, and reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving projects from initiation through completion.

Essential Functions: 

Project Management:

  • Provide support to PMO in delivery planning
  • Building project status reports and analyzing results
  • Use Jira to organize, track, and communicate project progress
  • Provide admin support to team by organizing agendas and meeting invites
  • Analyzing potential risks and escalate potential delays, adhering to risk culture
  • Support on ad hoc presentation to Executive team

Jira Management:

  • Build, manage, and prioritize Jira epics and user stories based on project requirements
  • Create, refine, and update Jira workflows to align with the needs of the development teams
  • Set up and manage dashboards, filters, and custom reports for real-time project tracking

Requirements: 

  • A graduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - Spring 2026 
  • Major in Business or related field
  • A cumulative GPA or 3.0 or above 
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills 
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in an Agile/Scrum environment. 5+ years of project management experience with a combination of business and technical basic knowledge
  • Advanced expertise in Jira, including building and managing epics, user stories, workflows, and generating custom reports
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
  • Experience with MS Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Confluence and other project management tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

Working Conditions: 

  • Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs. 
  • Travel to multiple facilities may be required. 
  • May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
  • May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time. 
  • May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard. 
  • Corporate / satellite office role.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $83,200 - $83,200/year
