Job Description:

Production Planning Engineer-Gas Insulated Switch gear

Basic knowledge of shop floor loading and scheduling activities, production planning and control.

Should be familiar with the best manufacturing practices like lean manufacturing, KANBAN, VMI, KAIZEN etc. Must have worked in assembly shops involving make to order and make to stock scenarios. Experience of co-ordination with various cross functions like testing, stores, packing, engineering, purchase and production. Expertise in PP&MM modules of SAP is required.

How you’ll make an impact

• Should have experience in Demand Planning & Material forecasting process.

• Expertise in SAP MRP data settings & resolution of MRP Exception Messages is required.

• Expertise in Material planning & scheduling and material tracking in projects scenario is required.

• Must have experience in Inventory control, Inventory analysis, Obsolesce reduction.

• Should be competent to set up PP Master Data for new factory.

• Responsible for master planning of capacity & materials through SAP.

• At least Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Production / electrical engineering with good academic track record.

• In case of degree, experience of 3 to 5 years is required. In case of diploma, experience of minimum 8 to 10 years is required.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with enhance SAP knowledge.

• Expertise in PP and MM module in SAP ( minimum 5 years of relevant experience ).

• Experience in manufacturing industry will be added advantage.

• Good Communication skills, Planning and Scheduling.

• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving.

• Quick learner with interest in and ability to master new technologies.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
