What you'll be doing
As the Sr. Consultant in the Corporate Procurement team, you’ll manage end-to-end procurement activities for high-complexity engagements across a diverse portfolio, including Risk, Enterprise Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, HR, and other functional groups. You’ll lead transactions involving a range of service types, such as professional services, technology, and business process outsourcing (BPO) agreements. Your expertise in running complex requests for proposals (RFPs) and leading negotiations with multiple internal stakeholders will be essential to your success. You’ll develop and present procurement strategy recommendations, ensuring business requirements and industry insights inform your approach. In addition to executing and implementing procurement initiatives, you’ll take the lead in upskilling the team, especially in RFX processes, sharing your knowledge and fostering best practices. You’ll collaborate closely with legal resources to develop contract content and ensure CIBC’s risks are mitigated, regulatory requirements are met, and organizational costs are optimized.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
