The Field Tooling and Safety team is a foundational team within Opendoor focused on building the tools that our team and trade partners use to manage homes. This is a unique opportunity to drive impact across the business from pre-acquisition of a home to listing that home post-renovation.
The Field Tooling and Safety team is looking for a senior software engineer to help build solutions that make it possible to better know our homes. This role will involve collaborating across functions to design, build, and release new systems that drive learnings to our business so we can better serve our customers. This full-stack role involves managing and developing essential front-end and back-end services for both our team and other teams, covering both web and mobile applications.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The U.S. pay range for this position is $136,000-$192,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
