Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Engineers to pursue a career in Software Developer role with Micron IT. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh college graduate looking to kick-start their career in Software development. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions, providing operational support.  These positions span over Micron IT teams and enable you to work with a diverse customer base across the globe. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity for talented individuals to apply their technical expertise and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

Roles & Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

Software Development/Operations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions, provide operations support.  Build scalable and high-performing applications that meet business requirements. Development: Develop applications in .NET Core, C#, .NET MVC, Python, WebAPI
 

Database Management: Design and maintain databases, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability. Write optimized queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus.

Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure the delivery of high-quality code. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, system issues, and bugs.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, and quality assurance engineers, to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices.

Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting innovative ideas and implementing new technologies when appropriate.

 Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and user manuals. Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or a related field from a reputable Institute.

Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in .NET Core, C#, .NET MVC, Python, WebAPI. Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), Cloud Technologies, version control systems (Git), and deployment tools (Docker, AWS, Heroku) is desirable.  Good understanding of security concepts like authentication, authorization etc.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, propose creative solutions, and implement effective strategies. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve software issues.

Team Player: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Willingness to learn from others and share knowledge.

Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements. Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to coding and problem-solving. Strong emphasis on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing personal projects, internships, or academic work is a plus.
