What you'll be doing

The Senior Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for processing complex vendor invoices and escalated employee expense reports.  Daily tasks include data entry into ERP system, management of the AP email box, and heavy communication with AP associates, vendors, purchasing staff and internal users. As a Senior member of the team, you will mentor AP Associates located in Hungary, gathering them in-office for monthly trainings, answering questions and conducting quarterly employee evaluations and goal setting.  You will also help with ensuring coverage for PTO and that work is distributed equally for the team, ensuring coverage for the business as needed.

  • Process AP invoices using ERP System (PO and Non-PO) 

  • Resolve escalated invoice issues

  • PO research, working with the Procurement Team to resolve complex issues

  • Process escalated employee expense reports

  • Vendor statement reconciliations

  • Pcard & Travel card reconciliations & processing

  • Handle vendor inquiries and disputes

  • Create Journal Entries as needed

  • Monthly accruals

  • Monthly GL account reconciliations

What we look for

  • 5 years AP experience, using an automated ERP system, preferably Oracle EBS

  • Intermediate Excel Skills required, including VLookup, Pivot Tables and Formulas

  • Ability to create and maintain Excel sheets as needed

  • Understanding of purchasing, receiving and 2 and 3-Way match process

  • Ability to lead and support office staff as needed

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
