Job Summary:
The Production & Supply Planner plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization’s production processes are efficient and effective. This position involves developing and maintaining production schedules, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials, and optimizing resource utilization. The Production & Supply Planner collaborates with cross functional teams to address production issues, perform capacity planning, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves monitoring production performance and making adjustments to schedules as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with operations team to develop and execute production schedules that align with demand forecasts.

- Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.

- Analyse production capacity and adapt the schedule to meet customer needs and optimize utilization

- Track production progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the warehouse, procurement, sourcing, and production teams.

- Work closely with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of materials needed for production.

- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding inventory status, production timelines, and potential delays.

- Responsible for coordinating and preparing data & material for the monthly SIOP meeting that will facilitate decisions around Demand, Supply, Capacity, and Inventory planning and ensure that decisions are executed.

- Be responsible to define inventory planning strategy to optimize P&L performance

- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand customer demand and incorporate it into production schedules, forecasts, and plans

- Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization needs

SAP ERP Utilization:

- Utilize SAP ERP system for tracking inventory, production schedules, and procurement processes.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the SAP system.

- Act as a change agent for continuous process improvement, systems implementation, and standardization efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- 2+ years of experience in planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems is required.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
