  • Loan Kit Operative

    Contract: Permanent

    Location: Newbury

    Shift: Newbury Early First Shift

    The role will be to support the Loan Kit Operations team with all required tasks including Kit receiving, replenishment & outbound activities. This role covers a range of support activities which fall under the support categories required to execute the loan kit operations.

    • Receiving of returned kits from our courier daily.

    • Organizing the returns as per franchise and instrument / implant segregation.

    • Checking of kits within washroom for tray accuracy, paperwork and flagging issues straight away.

    • Picking of kits for shipment to customers ensuring picking accuracy. Picking orders in a structured manner (same days first, then overseas, then rest) to ensure On Time Deliveries to customers.

    • Liaising with warehouse team to ensure relevant paperwork for deliveries are completed accordingly.

    • Good communication where shifts overlap, with a drive to process all daily customer shipments as quickly and efficiently as possible while also achieving all required kit operations and logistics KPIs.

    • Replenishment of loan kits to support departmental KPIs. Ensuring all incomplete kits are replenished where stock is available. All kits are also properly sealed/ wrapped in preparation for shipment.

    • Returning and processing (including put away) Sale or Return sterile Items.

    • Perform annual inventory cycle counting of kits/ kit items and report discrepancies

    • Maintenance of 6S standards across the operations environment on agreed frequency as determined by team leadership

    • Support internal and external BSI ISO 9001 audits with documentation and ad hoc analysis on specific key processes.

    • May be required to act as a process guide/ waterspider to support kit operational  processes by shuttling ready-to-process kits or work-in-process job completions to loan kit operations team and with transportation of processed  kits to next process steps.

    What you will need:

    • GCSE or higher 

    • Experience working in a team warehouse environment or in a similar environment required.

    • Experience working with Microsoft Office.

    •  Ability to communicate in a highly effective manner and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments.

    • Must be IT literate and efficient in an administrative environment.

    • They must have the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritizing and organizing workload.

    • Must have great attention to detail.
