Job Summary
Greets the public by phone and in person and determines the nature of service required. Either provides requested services or directs them to the appropriate area. Provides DMV license services, processes transactions and resolves routine problems. Resolves problems and assists with administrative functions in absence of manager. Provides high level of customer service.

Job Duties
  • Provides vehicle registration services and other services to the general public; maintains current knowledge of DMV regulations and completes all transactions according to State DMV and Club procedures.
  • May handle banking duties.
  • Balances and reconciles cash drawer; prepares daily deposit.
  • Performs notary services in accordance with the National Notary Association and Club procedures.
  • Complies with security procedures to open or close office, and response to security alarms.
  • Responsible for periodically opening office.
  • Responsible for periodically closing office at end of day and ensuring appropriate security measures taken.
  • Routinely asked to function as person in charge, including customer’s complaint/concern.
  • Mentors and trains junior employees; assists with timekeeping and scheduling employees as needed.
  • Assists with daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Provide direction and resolve problems of moderate complexity in the absence of the manager.

Qualifications
  • High School GED Required
  • 4-6 years Customer service or related experience Required
  • 1-3 years OH License 1 Preferred
  • Ability to deal well with the public required
  • Solid computer literacy and data input skills
  • Ability to effectively coach and mentor others
  • Ability to work quickly and handle multiple tasks or assignments on a daily basis
  • Ability to travel locally when necessary

  • Occasional travel to off-site business meetings or conferences. (5% proficiency)
